About Helen

From Personal Practice to Purposeful Teaching

Helen first stumbled into yoga at 18, wandering past a university classroom and feeling curious enough to return the following week to see what it was all about.

Throughout her 20s and 30s, Helen kept returning to yoga to bring balance to a hectic working life and the full-on demands of a young family.

Now firmly into mid‑life running, she practises yoga regularly and eventually trained as a teacher — partly to help others avoid the kinds of injuries that years of sport, especially running, can leave behind.
